Agartala, Tripura, January 2 (HBTV): The winter session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to begin on January 10 and will continue for three days, concluding on January 15. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee conducted today as confirmed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath. 



The minister said that the BAC meeting was convened to finalize the schedule for the winter session. As per tradition, the first session of the year in the legislative assembly commences with the Governor's Address. Accordingly, on the first day of the session, January 10, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu will deliver his inaugural speech. Discussions will focus on the government's roadmap for the forthcoming year. 



The Tripura government plans to introduce two bills during this session. Another proposal might also be tabled. The minister stated that the budget session for this year is expected to begin in March. 



This session will provide an important platform to discuss the state's development plans and legislative agenda for the year ahead.
